Medcore HP is licensed by the State of California as a healthcare service plan and is contracted with Medicare as a Medicare Advantage Plan. Medcore HP is a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) designed to assist you and your Primary Care Physician in coordinating your health care needs and maintaining your health status at the highest degree possible.
Medcore HP offers three separate benefit programs to meet your individual needs. Medcore Gold, a Medicare Advantage Part D Prescription Drug plan, offers all of the benefits provided by Original Medicare and more, including Part D outpatient prescription drugs. Medcore Gold-Select, also a Medicare Advantage Part D Prescription Drug plan that offers all of the benefits of Original. Medicare and more, including Part D outpatient prescription drugs, is specifically designed for the Medicare beneficiaries who are also have full Medi-Cal benefits.Medcore Silver is a Medicare Advantage plan, and offers all of the benefits of Original Medicare and more, but does NOT include Part D prescription drugs.
Medcore HP is locally owned and operated by its physician network, Omni IPA, which has been in the business of caring for and managing members of health plans for over twenty years. Medcore HP is committed to serving its members in a culturally sensitive manner, without bias or prejudice, and with you, the member, as its primary focus.
Medcore HP has contracts in place that provide members with access to over 400 physicians and providers of health care, including the local hospitals and outpatient facilities.
Medcore HP maintains a set of core values to ensure the provision of quality at competitive cost within its service area of San Joaquin County, and maintains an active quality improvement program, including focus on member satisfaction, delivery of quality care, outcomes monitoring and reporting, and assurance of timely access to qualified providers.
Additionally, Medcore HP maintains a corporate integrity program to ensure ethical business practices are in place and to assure overall compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, including anti-fraud and abuse programs.
